Privacy and your data
What this website collects, why, and what your rights are.
Who handles your data
The controller of your personal data is Apartmaji Taljat, Most na Soči 95, 5216 Most na Soči, Slovenia. Email: info@apartma-taljat.com, phone: +386 41 337 537.
Enquiries
The enquiry form sends nothing through this website: when you submit it, your own email app opens with a ready message that you send yourself. The website stores nothing. Apartmaji Taljat use the details in your message (name, email, phone, dates, apartment, number of guests, message) only to answer your enquiry and to arrange your stay.
The calendar and the day-trip map run only in your browser; nothing you choose there is sent anywhere.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes visitors' IP addresses in short-lived logs for security and to deliver the pages. Transfers to the US are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
Cloudflare also records anonymous visit statistics on the site (Cloudflare Web Analytics): which pages are opened, how fast they load, the browser type and the country. It uses no cookies, does not store your IP address and builds no visitor profiles.
What this website does not use
- Cookies or browser storage.
- Ads, or tools that follow you across other websites.
- Third-party fonts or embedded maps: the fonts are served from this site, the day-trip map is drawn by the page itself, and the Google Maps link only opens when you click it.
The "Instant online booking" link leads to the SocaHolidays site (book.socaholidays.com), where their own privacy policy applies. This website loads nothing from their site while you browse.
How long data is kept
Enquiries are kept as long as needed to answer them and to arrange your stay. Invoicing and guest registration data are kept as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. Write to info@apartma-taljat.com. If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you can complain to the Slovenian Information Commissioner (ip-rs.si).
